College Life As A Single Parent

    I attend college online while also working and raising my two kids as a single mom. I am in my third year of college and I am majoring in Accounting.

    Trying to make it through college in your twenties is hard enough. Doing it while raising a family as a single mom is a double whammy!

    Being a single parent is hard enough. You have to balance work, kids and daily life without any help for the most part. Your lucky if you have any help at all. I have found that taking classes online makes it easier to finish classes while balancing life.

    You can attend class any day of the week or time. You don’t have a set schedule like attending classes on campus. You do have to have the ability to make yourself set aside time for class though. Attending class online is not a breeze in the park. You have to make an effort. Attending college online has been a lifesaver for me though.
